Where we are as a society right now...

...and what we have to do to fix it.

Americans, historically, inherently, are wonderful people. If you’ve been around these United States for a while, you’ve witnessed we Americans in far more acts of wonderful, than acts of ugly. Around the world, as a whole, Americans are known to be wonderful, generous, caring people. At least that’s the way it used to be. Now, because of those who control and manipulate us and because of the ugly behavior of our recent leadership, we have become selfish and lost, divided and angry, and yes, ...sometimes, even cruel.

Every day, across this country there are countless acts of kindness, generosity, compromise, and tolerance. All of these acts lead to moments of wonderful. These moments bring a genuine sense of gratitude, happiness, and belonging to all who were involved and to those who witnessed and were moved by these acts. This happy, engaging feeling comes from being reassured that we, Humanity, can be wonderful and caring towards each other. In these examples, the Humanity in question is American, and it feels good to know how wonderful we are, especially when we work and play together.

There is a different path for Americans with our politics and governance. It's easy to recognize, as most Americans do, the current two-party system has failed us profoundly, and the organized, deceitful apparatus that creates and directs the propaganda that corrupts our minds and shapes our poor decisions, has reached a breaking point. A point to which we, the average hard-working American middle-class citizens, are fighting amongst ourselves, divided, while the wealthy manipulators continue to rob us of our financial stability and the easier, more benevolent life we all could and should be living. They laugh at us for how gullible and easily fooled we have become.

In the coming months and years, regardless of what happens with the Biden/Harris administration, we should promote and share stories of Wonderful Americans and our acts of kindness, generosity, compassion, and tolerance. We need to be reminded of who we are as Americans, and why it is so important for all of us to keep this close to our hearts. We will all feel better for it and this will help us escape our unnecessary ideologies and focus on our combined social reality. If we can remember and embrace who we once were and who we should be as a people, we’ll be able to see through the looming darkness and find the light path our founding fathers intended for us.
